Recipe: Fresh Salsa


5-6 plum tomatoes

3 Jalapeno peppers (remove the seeds)

1/4 c. cilantro

3/4 c. onion

2-3 cloves of garlic

1 tsp. cayenne pepper

1 tsp. cumin

1 tsp. sugar

Salt & pepper to taste

Lime juice (or lemon) to taste

1. Add jalapeno, garlic, onion and cilantro to a food processor and blend until finely diced

2. Add tomatoes, cayenne, cumin, sugar, S&P, and lime juice to the processor and blend an additional 30 seconds. (I cut the tomatoes and removed some of the seeds so the salsa would not be too watery).

3. Enjoy!

Add additional S&P or lime juice to adjust the flavor to your liking.
